I beg to differ.
Had a small chat with a bisexual friend and he likened sexual orientation to your dietary preference. "One day you can choose to be vegetarian, but it doesn't mean you will never eat meat forever." What kind of metaphor is that anyway?
Gay relationships are like any other relationship. It's probably more susceptible to temptations of vice and disloyalty, but it also means that there's an opportunity to overcome that hurdle and be a better, not bitter, person. If both parties really want it to happen, they will fight their way into heaven if that's what it would take them.
Don't give up hope.
