Work has been exhausting, and I don't think I have gotten my body back to its original state of health. That plus a tender process that was rushed for today has taken a toll on me. It's an interesting process altogether, and I hope the company does win it. Fingers crossed.
Other than that, I think I have been horny these days. Not a good thing altogether.
I feel poor too, I think I have been overspending in the past month. I'm gonna try to activate my stingy-bucker mode of staying at home and be antisocial, haha.

Of Roads to Recovery, Return to Work, and Various Random Rants
It is now 2 weeks since my tonsils came out and I'm about 90% healed, with only the back portion still healing at a snail pace. My strength is slowly recovering, and I have started to slowly ease back to my gym routine, albeit at an even slower pace to not affect my healing. However, 1 month of not working has put me in this state of zombification that I can't seem to shrug off, but hopefully everything will slowly return to normal.
My masters course has been delayed, so I'm finding other plans now for the near and distant future.
Although many of my friends have stopped playing, I have taken the window of opportunity made by the latest patch to tear through Hell difficulty to arrive safely in Inferno. Now, it's just about slow grinding and gaining Paragon levels. I'm just too lazy to start other games I need to play (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher 2: Assasins of Kings, Dark Souls, etc.) because I probably need a new computer to play those smoothly.
The two things I must (by choice and interest) read extensively about now is the Summerhill School and the Mondragon Corporation. Maybe I'll blog about those two later on.
I shopped like crazy two days ago (probably not as hardcore as shopaholics, but it still is a lot to me). The damages done during this Raya sale period are 3 pants (of which I desperately need in my wardrobe), 1 long sleeve shirt, 4 tees, 2 tank tops, 8 undies. I happen to be a relatively picky shopper, but it is scary when there are so many things that you like that you are willing to pay for at one go.
I seriously need to start disciplining myself to sleep early again, and when I say early, I mean old man 10pm early. I think the top three things that affect my body the most are:
1. Rest. Which means I need high quality and consistent sleep at the time of the day where my hormones are most suited for recovery and rest (which based on past experience is a sleeping time somewhere around 10pm to 11pm). And if I push in the gym, I need to somehow fit in a nap period somewhere in the afternoon. Hmmm.
2. Temperature and environments. I don't do well in a air conditioned areas, stuffy and enclosed areas, and my body doesn't deal well with sudden temperature changes (i.e.: from a cold air conditioned car to a sunny Malaysian afternoon without shade at temperatures reaching more than 37 degrees Celsius). Unfortunately, my job requires me to be in all those scenarios.
3. Lack of fluids. I dehydrate easily, and even my diet can affect my hydration-bility. Drinking lots of water at once doesn't solve the problem.
Okay, maybe that's enough for today, don't wanna run out of bloggable subject matter tomorrow, assuming I do end up blogging. I'm so terrible.
Me signing out. And thanks for the prayers, whoever you all are!

Tonsils RIP
I finally performed my tonsillectomy on 13th August 2012. I believe this is a turning point in my life, after which I should have a healthier perspective towards my own body, and with the removal of my septic tonsils, hopefully my life will come back together.
The tonsils are still being studied to see any issues, so I'll update as I get more information.
Right after the surgery, it was an awful pain. It's less pain today (that's why I was discharged), but it will be some time before a full recovery takes place. Now, my priorities is just more rest and water (and food too, although I feel super guilty for downing so many ice-creams).
I lost about 7kg weight, most of which I believe is muscle... Haih...
But my outlook seems better already. Thanks to everyone who prayed for me.
Love ya'll.

Countdown to Surgery
I'm still spending every day recuperating (yes it seems to be a long process) and hopefully make proper recovery by the coming Monday of which my surgery is scheduled if all goes well. I am worried that complications would further delay the actual surgery, or that operating would bring even more complications, but I'm trying to stay positive all these while.
Will try to squeeze in baking therapy tomorrow if it permits.
I'm tired, please lend me strength.

Unresolved Deep Throated Issues
Obviously, I have been away for a while, and this time it is a completely valid reason (not that I am responsible to actually put out reading materials since I don't have that many readers, but I digress). The Sunday two weeks ago (29th July 2012), I came down with a horrible fever that persisted to the point that I was admitted to the hospital the following Tuesday at close to Midnight (31st July 2012), and I have been there up till yesterday.
You already know I hate being sick, I mean, nobody does. But I absolutely loath it when it has to do with my tonsils, because it has been the bane of my healthy existence since forever.
The stay in the hospital was a mix of painful and drug numbing experiences. Whenever a dose of drugs (usually antibiotics) surges up my bloodstream, I can rest assured the feeling of safety for a few hours. Then the pain sets in again and I have to suffer till the next dose. The first 2 days I switched antibiotics around because they didn't seem to be working and my body seemed to be resistant against the type. My tonsils also became worse, but they finally found a strain that worked on me on the third day.
The tonsils and throat is one of the worse places to get infected, it completely impairs you to consume what is required for healing, food and water. Being on drip doesn't help much too, since the drip doesn't moisturise the outside of the tonsils and prevent external agitation, and this is especially problematic when you sleep. I'm still wondering how doctors and researchers never get around to that issue...
Nearing the end of my stay, my tonsils subdued enough to swallow, but a new problem arose. My stomach and esophageal walls weakened to the point of gastric and acid reflux. Even at home now, I'm am still battling with this as I slowly garner strength.
I wish to thank several people: my parents for their unending support (especially my angel mother); the friends who visited me and brought me comics, get-well-soon cards, food, honey; and the rest who kept me in prayer and in thought.
If all goes well, my tonsillectomy is due on Monday. Then maybe, just maybe (although at this point I'm gearing more towards definitely, but perhaps I shouldn't jinx myself), this issue will come to a full closure.
I love you all.
