Binged on awesome gelato - pistachio, lemon and coffee.

Ate cod sperm in Singapore, which happened to be surprisingly good.

Finished the day with great ramen.

Into The Mouth Of The Lion

First post from another country (I think)!

Groggily made my way to the bus terminal in the wee hours of the morning and did little sleep in the bus. Upon arrival, I was mostly just resting/chilling/stoning while making plans for the next two days. Nothing big; this is a relaxing trip after all.

Gonna meet a close friend tomorrow who wants to bring me to Abercrombie and Fitch (to see hot guys supposedly). I'm not a big fan of the brand, but I'll just go look-see-look-see a little. Will try not to shop unless there is some super sale happening, most of the expenses will be on food alone anyway.

Will try to get some pondering about life done here too.

A Matter of Perspective (Or Think Butterfly Effect, But Exaggerated)

Lost parking ticket because lost focus because had toilet emergency which was subverted.

It's like paying for freaking expensive toilet entrance.

See, it's really all about perspective.

Bought a bunch of not-so-famous-for-their-underwear-brand underwear which happens to fit and feel really good. Variety never kills. I think my shopping frenzy will be coming to an end, don't wanna spend anymore till I get income again.

K-Pop night at the market. Will be there, weeeee!

Will be in Singapore for the next 3 days.

Shop Till I Plop

Shopping today was all over the place, and having people shopping with me meant that I had to 'babysit' everyone also. Not to mention, I wasn't able to shop for intimate personal stuff without sufficient privacy. Eeesh. I ended up buying less than I thought I will be buying, including a very metrosexual top recommended by a friend. I also need to stop buying tank tops.

I still need to do more underwear shopping, weeeee!

Going down to Singapore on Friday till Sunday. Will be predominantly a relaxing weekend, but let's see what happens.

Bittersweet Memories

Made Bittersweet Chocolate Macarons today, with the help of JC and my two Aussie cousins. The shape was horrid,, but the flavour was right and the ganache was almost perfect. I probably need to tweak the recipe a little to make the macarons survive better in Malaysian weather. Brought a batch to my ex-workplace for my ex-colleagues, saved another 2 batches for family and friends.

BTW, the post title alludes to a unique weapon in the Sovereign Stone Trilogy by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, author of the Dragonlance.

Didn't do shopping today. It is one of those days where you thought you could squeeze everything into one day, but people and process lag you behind. Meh. Tomorrow will be my day!

Open Books

I have been very open to my close friends this year when they ask me very personal questions, but they have been so open to me at the same time. I've come to realise how human each of us are, and appreciate each other for the person we are. It's when my friends ask me the strangest questions that I know that they truly love me.

Have so much left to do for the rest of the week, mostly to get my life back in order.

Tomorrow planning to go swimming with a close friend (cardio back in order), make macaroons for ex-colleagues, friends and relatives, and go shopping like a possessed stereotyped gay guy during sales. Toodles!

Another new year resolution to add to the list: no more This is for Yesterday posts. I need to make a habit to post at the start of the day instead of at the end of the day. Good night people, I still have much to blog about in store.
